I decided to dust off my Flicker account and start uploading some of my photos. Hopefully this will prove to be good motivation to take more, as I usually have my camera with me most of the time.

This is a photo I took on one of the trips to Noosa, a storm was forming.

Also, I swaped Blogrush widget out with my Flicker Photostream, as I wasn’t receiving much traffic from Blogrush anyway (in the year or so I’ve had it). I think having a few pictures in the sidebar looks nicer anyway.  Next update will have art again.

Just a quick little update. art by pavel has been featured on We Love WP! Very happy that my website was accepted , it’s taken me a while to arrive at the current design (though it’s still a work in progress).

Haha, well it’s been a week since I launched the forum I talked about at the beginning of the month, I know I haven’t updated about it straight away, but that’s because I wanted to make sure that everything was running smooth.

So as some might have found out (by clicking the forum link ) here is the forum!

Dream Gauge is an art forum where members can share art, give each other honest feedback in order to grow and improve as artist.

Well this is our main focus right now, so I will push for people to give honest critique of each others work. I think this is important if people want to improve, and there are only a hand full of art communities that provide this.

I really hope that DG will take off and become a great site, so be sure to go there and join up .

Well that’s about all for now, I’ll try to keep the updates from slowing down as my uni semester continues.

I’m back… with and update ! So I’ve been some what missing for a while now, uni and other things have been keeping me busy. I finally had the chance to work on few of my projects, so here I bring you and update to artbypavel!

Ta daaaaa~!!!

Ahem… So lets start on the what has been updated. Firstly the design has undergone a fair few tweaks and updates, I’m hoping now it looks much more slicker and most importantly nicer to use. The blog has been moved and replaced by a front page, which gives a better overview of my site. Hoping this will enable me to update my blog more often as it’s not the first thing visitors see. Finally managed to update the website, taking it all the way upto v1! I ended up skipping a few updates, and instead updated to the final version - well the v1. Here is a simple illustration to show what has happened:

In reality a fair few changes have been put in place, mainly the gallery has been totally revamped and updated! Now you can browse my art all the way back to 2004. Well that’s about it for now, I need some sleep.

After a few problems with updating and fair few hours, art by pavel beta 1 is ready! There are fair few changes that were made. So I’ll just list the the main ones:

• Site design updated, enhanced and cleaned up!
• Portfolio section implemented.
• All of my current best artworks are up.
• Various other tweaks and clean-ups.

Well that about it for now. More updates are coming - I’ve planned to have 2 more betas before the full version is complete. Hope you like the updates, looking to hear your opinions on the updated web site design!

It’s been 1 day just under a day since the website went online, and there are already updates left right and centre!

First major update, the comments are now working! I was pretty tired and sleepy at 1am this morning, so a few things went under the radar. To comment on my posts, just click the “comments” link below. You can also register so you don’t have to enter personal details every time, or if you want to be my friend ~ haha.
